First Official Home Game This Weekend: 10/06
After several weekends on the road, the Lady Buckeyes will play their first official home game this Saturday! OSUWRFC will host the League Game against Michigan State- the team the Bucks defeated to win 3rd Place at The Big Ten Tournament. Come out and support your Lady Buckeyes at their first home-turf match!

OSU Captures 3rd Place at Big Ten Tournament : 10/01
The Lady Buckeyes began The 2009 Big Ten Tournament with a Saturday morning victory against Minnesota in triple overtime. A final kickoff score of 3-1 ended their long-fought battle. Winning kicks were made by veteran Alisha Gibson, veteran Lauren "LT" Turner, and rookie Danielle Foster. After a loss to Penn State Saturday afternoon, the ladies rebounded Sunday morning with a shut-out against Michigan State. Congratulations OSUWRFC for the outstanding achievement!

OSU Wins Akron 10s: 07/25
The Buckeyes participated in a summer tournament in Akron on July 18. Tens rugby is a variant with only ten players on a side - it's much faster, with more space to play.

Back's Coach Vinnie Staropoli and wife Ashlie welcome first child!: 07/25
Angelina Marie was welcomed into the world on July 21, 2009. 6lb 3oz 19in long. She is beautiful baby girl with a bushy head of hair! Congratulations and well done!

Sarah Wilson playing in New Zealand: 07/25
Sarah Wislon, a 3-time All-American is fullfinlling a lifelong dream an playing for a top-club in New Zealand. She is playing for the High School Old Boys (Daniel Carter's Club) http://www.oldboys.co.nz/ and from recent reports doing very well. We all wish her well and we know she will proudly represent Ohio State Rugby.

Welcome to our new web site! Our goal with the new design is it better serves our friends, families and fans with information on our team. 2009 is just around the corner, hopefully you haven't indulged too much on Thanksgiving turkey and eagerly await Santa and all of the presents, of course only if you were good. The new year usually brings a time of reflection on where you have been and determine goals to strive for, and our team is no different.

The first-ever OSU Women's Rugby e-newsletter was sent on December 9. This new communication vehicle showcases the team's involvement in the community, provides up-to-the-minute news and showcases individual players. The e-newsletter is emailed monthly. Web site Undergoes a Massive Overhaul: 12/07
A long overdue reworking of osuwrfc.com has finally come to fruition with the successful re-launch of the team's site. The goal for this redesign is to better inform the players, fans and alumni of all of the happenings, on and off the field, of the Buckeyes. Special thanks go to Dog n Pony design for this beautiful and functional web site!!
